As follows: Timothy Pickering free franked folded postal cover, Philadelphia, to Alexander Addison, Washington, Pennsylvania. Since Judge Addison died in 1807, this cover was likely penned during Pickering's term as third U. S. Secretary of State, 1795 - 1800. Matted with a 19th century engraved portrait and framed to an overall 11.5 x 19 in. Some soiling, bold signature; 1832 Republican election Ticket from Ohio, headlines Andrew Jackson. 6 x 2.5 in. framed to an overall 9.75 x 5.75 in. Creases and soiling. Good condition.
