Two Imperial Japanese Military Swords

The first an army parade sword, 26 in. blade, 31.25 in. LOA, gilt brass guard and fittings, chrysanthemum motif throughout, wire bound ray skin grip, black leather scabbard; the second a navy sword, Blade 27.5 in.; LOA 35.75 in.; gilt brass guard and fittings, chrysanthemums throughout, leather bound wooden scabbard.

Both swords with bright, clean blades; some surface wear to scabbards.
