Two Asian Ivory Carvings

The first appears to be a depiction of Li Tieguai, one of the eight immortals, carrying his gourd of medicine (4.5 in.); the second is a carving of a peddler whose numerous wares hang about his body, nicely detailed in black, artist signed on the bottom (6.25 in.).
