18th century Small Sword

Likely French, circa 1750, pierced iron guard, grip and pommel, its triangular blade engraved with a half sun and floral motifs below the ricasso.

Blade 33 in. blade; LOA 40 in.

Attic condition with light overall rusting; the wire on the grip is somewhat loose; the left side of the guard is missing.
