Early 19th century, Bedford County, VA, having a cherry case with a one board poplar top, secondary woods are poplar and yellow pine, single drawer has a scratch beaded lapped front with turned maple pull. The drawer is flanked by tombstone maple inlay and maple roundels, the deep skirt carved with a central fylfot, raised on legs boldly turned with double convex rings, the legs tapering to tall turnip feet.
