English School, late 18th century, Maritime Salute

Unsigned, oil on canvas, two longboats carrying civilian well-wishers pull away from a naval frigate making for the open sea. Additional warships, smaller craft and a Dutch sloop are in the background. Presented in a substantial gilt and gesso frame.
