Featuring a serenade, as a fashionably dressed gentleman strums his guitar for a swooning lady as she fans herself. The painted bronze bodies are mounted to a double stacked marble base. The figure's faces and hands are composed of carved and painted ivory. The marble base is signed "Roland Paris." Born in Austria, Paris specialized in bronze and ivory figures until his death in 1915.
