Late 18th century, Eastern N.C., walnut with cedar secondary, the top features a beveled edge with good overhang, a flush drawer with scratch bead raised on tall square tapered legs highlighted by shaped returns at the skirt joint, light wood inlay to drawer and leg fronts.

30.25 x 31.5 x 23.5 in.

Family history places this table at "Elmwood," Washington NC, home of James Redding Grist and Elizabeth Trotter Snode Latham where the table graced the entry hall.

Some minor loss to right rear leg.
