Pair of Imari Vases with Ormolu Mounts

The vases depict a cherry blossom tree on the front and reverse of the body with cobalt and rouge de fer floral designs decorating the vases. They rest on gilt metal bases of French-Victorian fashion with dolphin feet. The opening of the vases are also mounted with the same gilt metal decoration, with full-body winged dolphins as handles with fire breathing dragons beneath the dolphin's bodies.
