Marquetry Inlaid Writing Desk

Early 20th century, the highly decorative case with rosewood, burled wood and satinwood veneers, having a marble top highlighted by a brass gallery over three side-by-side drawers which surmount a marquetry inlaid cylinder roll lid. The desk features a pull-out writing surface (later leather) over three side-by-side drawers, raised on straight tapered legs.
