Two Chinese Export Lidded Pen Boxes

Porcelain 19th century, the first, decorated in the Famille Rose pattern with a divided interior, 2.5 x 7 x 3.75 in; the second box, also with divided interior, is painted in the Rose Mandarin design, the top depicting a gathering of nobles around a pavillion, the sides painted with court ladies in a park-like setting, 3 x 7.75 x 4 in.
