Marked 31 CAL on the frame, matching serial numbers 283052 throughout, walnut grip, brass trigger guard and butt strap, the top of the 6 in. octagonal barrel marked ADDRESS COL. SAMLCOLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA, six-shot cylinder with very faint engraved stagecoach scene, 11 in. overall length. Needs mechanical attention, 2 in. crack to the left side of the barrel, pitting throughout, all original surfaces.
