Mahogany and mahogany veneers, having a verte marble top over a frieze inlaid with classical elements, the fall front, flanked by caryatid-mounted tapered columns, has an interior of satinwood veneer and is compartmentalized. The cabinet is supported by carved fully developed forms raised on a rectangular flush plinth.
