18th-19th century, six-panel table screen, ink, colors, gilding, and gold leaf on paper, depicting two chapters from the Tale of Genji (Genji Monogatari).


DOA: 14.75 x 41 in.

Good estate condition; some cracking of paper and repairs, especially to the left hand two panels; scratching in some areas of gold leaf clouds; dirt smear on upper section of center two panels; cracking and wear to some edges of the paper at screen joints.
