Sheffield silver plate, early 20th century in the Rococo style, rectangular form with applied shell, acanthus, and floral to borders with conforming cast handle each engraved with a family crest of a dragon emerging from a crenulated wall above the motto (translated from Latin) "In the Middle Shall You Walk the Safest".
