19th century or earlier, brocade border on three sides; the main decoration consisting of four large medallions set among birds and fanciful creatures, two of which incorporate the Taoist Taijitu (Yin-Yang); hundreds of small brass collars holding reflective glass are interspersed throughout the work. Mounted in a custom wooden frame.
