Southern Chest of Drawers, North Carolina

Circa 1840, walnut and yellow pine, top with cove molded edge over slightly projecting upper drawer supported by turned split columns over three graduated drawers all with scratch beading, the unique stylized paw front feet are made from the solid as are the tapered rear spade feet.
