Walnut dovetailed construction with superb hand-forged iron elements consisting of ring handles, hinges, applied pierced roundels and a clasped lock; interior with light and dark wood inlay; central well flanked by lidded tills and several drawers; stand of walnut and fruitwood construction with chamfered legs and dovetailed stretcher; Florentine owner's manuscript label en verso with name obscured.
