Dutch Brass Snuff Box, 18th century

Lid engraved with heraldry, the underside having a central medallion flanked by two circles containing human profiles. Inversion of these images reveals two others which allegedly mock either marriage or the Vatican.

Moderate wear obscures image in central medallion on underside, hinge somewhat loose.
