The first a Japanese fokusa converted to a wall hanging, early 20th century, hand- embroidered gold thread on cream field silk depicting a sailing vessel; the second a Middle Eastern hand- embroidered gold thread wall hanging depicting all over boteh and foliage on black field wool.
