English Wine Cellaret, circa 1830

Casket form raised on four boldly carved paw feet, mahogany with ebony line inlay to all four sides, carved lion head medallions serve as handles on either side with another centered on the front below the original lock, the cavetto molded hinged lid opens to reveal a divided interior; although the cellaret is not lined, there is a drainage hole.

Two missing casters, some minor expected scratches and minor chipping to carved elements, expected shrinkage cracks and wear.
