Two Mid-18th Century Maps of North America

Both hand-colored copperplate engravings; the first, "N. America," English, signed "A. Bell" in print, lower right margin; behind mat framed to an overall 12 x 13.5 in.; the second map "L'Amerique Septentrionale," French, by Georges-Louis Le Rouge (unsigned), no frame, 13.75 x 9.5 in.

The English map, not examined out of frame, appears clean and stable; the French map has a tiny bit of loss to left margin, small splits on central horizontal fold.
