Wooden box viewer, stamped UNIS FRANCE over obscured secondary mark ending with PARIS, adjustable focus, glass screen. Included are (50) glass stereoviews,1.75 x 4.25 in., depicting a wide range of candid scenes from the Great War. A sampling shows trench life, a downed plane, German POWs, the dead, General Pershing, artillery trains and medical personnel. One slide has a clean vertical break .5 in. from edge; the rest are intact.
