William S. Schwartz (Russia/Am., 1896 - 1977),

"Reclining Woman," crayon on paper, signed "W.S." under figure. Behind glass in composition frame. A Russian immigrant, Schwartz graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago and launched a career in which he mastered several media. His works are in over fifty institutional collections.
