(Paris: Curmer, 1866-1867), two volumes, over 400 pp.,11.5" x 9",red Morocco covers lined with blue silk as are the end papers, gilt titles on spine, gilt edges, numerous chromolithographs by Lemercier, additional arabesque text borders in full color. The works of French Renaissance master Jean Foucquet (1420 - ca. 1480) are here cataloged from various European collections. Text includes commentary on the art presented and a list of subscribers to the set, of which there were 550 copies printed.
Minor edge bumps and wear to covers, light foxing to end papers, internally crisp. Overall quite attractive.
