Both oil on canvas; the first depicting a young street girl eating bread while a black dog begs at her feet, signed "J. Wolf 1870" at lower left; the second depicting a young boy blowing bubbles in a kitchen while a kitten plays at his feet, signed "J. Wolf Dresden" at lower right; each in matching later frame.

SS 20.25 x 13.25 in.; DOA 24.5 x 17 in.

Black light inspection reveals very minimal spot touch-ups; craquelure; painting with boy blowing bubbles with some slack in canvas; both with minor surface grime.
