Late 19th century, English, mahogany, with high crest centered between acanthus carved ears, intricately carved and pierced back splat, slip seat with antique needlepoint upholstery enclosed within a seat rail bas relief carved with acanthus leaves on three sides, cabriole legs, ball and claw feet.
