Circa 1880, with assay mark for Oporto, maker's mark reads "F.V.(rubbed)" in a rectangular punch, circular form with raised central boss, the well hand-chased with floral panels alternating with gadrooned and diaper patterned panels, all against a stippled ground, shaped rim.
