Early Spirit of St. Louis Airplane Folk Art Weathervane

Circa 1930s, the fuselage and wing covering of silver-toned sheet metal, the plane and the vane's directional being set upon a post rising from an iron four-legged display stand.

The plane 41.5 in. long; HOA 61.5 in. on stand.

Included is a former sales tag stating this item is from a "central Florida farm."

Dents, pushes and some paint losses; two rectangular areas of rust on the fuselage indicate now-missing wheel struts; losses to exposed wood on wings' tips.
