Japanese Meiji Period Imari Porcelain Charger with Eagle

Late 19th, porcelain with iron red, dark cobalt blue, green, and yellow enamels, large diamond of decoration takes up majority of the charger with an eagle flying among pine trees with bamboo and plum blossoms, Buddhist motifs and kimono pattern decorate the outside border, floral decoration in cobalt blue on underside, with one obvious kiln spur mark on the bottom.
