Whitlock, n.d., circa 1889), two large folio volumes, one of bound descriptive text; the other contains 44 loose color plates illustrating American uniforms from 1774 to 1888. Dark tan boards with brown linen spines. Though from a Limited Edition of 1,500 copies, this set remains un-numbered.

Corner bumps to the boards; the first plate with some spotting to margins, age toning and loss to the lower left corner. The set in overall fine condition
