American Classical Carved Sofa

Circa 1820's, attributed to Philadelphia, mahogany and mahogany veneer, having a rolled crest rail terminating in carved acanthus above a large rosette, scrolled arms above a carved skirt, the hairy paw feet repeat the carved elements of the frame, slip cushion, gold watered silk upholstery.
