Early 20th century, consisting of a large spread wing eagle perched upon a sphere raised over an indicating arrow, the four directionals, and a secondary sphere; the weathervane is currently set into a square copper plinth, likely an architectural element.

Family history from the current consignor states this weathervane was on a downtown commercial building in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Retaining smooth green verdigris surfaces from extended outdoor exposure; expected rusting to ferrous metal components and denting to plinths.
