Caswell County, North Carolina, circa 1850s, mahogany, poplar secondary, mahogany veneer to the skirt, having a shaped marble top, the stand features a carved skirt with a turned pendant at each corner, the supports are exuberantly carved with a pierced design including a quatrefoil, terminating in upswept whorl feet with a carved and arched central stretcher.

Old dark crazed surface.
One pendant replaced; one new corner block; marble with light staining.
