Framed Time Magazine Cover with Original Collage Mockup (July 11, 1969)

In 1969, artist Dennis Wheeler designed "The Sex Explosion" Time Magazine Cover that featured actors from the popular and sexually explicit off-Broadway production, Oh! Calcutta!, covered by a partially unzipped fig leaf. This lot includes a copy of the magazine cover placed alongside a mockup cover with a fig leaf used in the design. Items matted and framed.
