Poplar; the first walking stick is carved in the form of a polychrome painted totem depicting members of the British Colonial Army, (Redcoats), as well as a ball in cage, with rubber tip (51.5 in.); the second stick is carved as a snake, paint decorated with diamonds, impressed stamp "BF" (37 in.) A copy of an article about Buddy Fisher from "The Newsletter of the North Carolina Folk Art Society, 1994", accompanies this lot.
