Private Collection, Mooresville, NC Trained as an engineer, Elwell is best known as a western illustrator, painter, and sculptor. He was a close friend with William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody, whom he met in the late 1880s.
Chip to edge of marble; else very good estate condition.
