A small 4 x 6 in. flag and the Apollo XII patch are presented behind glass in a blue velvet frame. Between these mementos, Alan Bean wrote,
To Jim - Thanks for making the flight possible - Intrepid was magnificent. Below the patch are signatures of Charlie Conrad, Dick Gordon and Alan Bean. An explanatory paper label along the mount's lower margin reads "SAILED WITH THE YANKEE CLIPPER AND INTREPID TO THE OCEAN OF STORMS / NOVEMBER 1969."

Included with this lot is a photoprint transcript of a partial in-flight communication from Alan Bean in which he gratefully identifies Jim Harrington as a top contributor to the Apollo 12 Mission's success.
