Circa 1969, the contractor's model of molded plastic with applied metal details, presented on a round base sporting the Grumman and NASA logos above the words LUNAR MODULE (6 x 10.5 in.) (Minor chipping to UNITED STATES decal; loss of antenna struts to top right. Overall very fine condition); the certificate recognizes Grumman engineer J. C. Harrington "...a member of the Grumman team at the Kennedy Space Center that launched the First Lunar Module which landed American Astronauts on the moon and returned them safely to the Earth...July 16th thru July 24, 1969." Signed in print by astronauts Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin plus George Skurla of Kennedy Space Center and Grumman officers L. J. Evans and J. G. Gavin (13 x 10 in. overall) (Very fine condition).
