20th century, ink and colors on silk, large vertical paintings decorated with pairs of birds and seasonal flowers, peonies and cherry blossoms representing Spring and Summer on one and chrysanthemums and bamboo representing Fall and Winter on the other, signed on lower portion of each painting along with red artist's seal, beautifully framed under glass in art nouveau style, not examined outside of the frame.
