Hodgkin, who passed away in March of this year, had a lifelong love for India. He completed Indian Views in 1971 as a series of mental snapshots he observed through train windows while traveling across India. These screenprints capture the essence of the vibrant Indian terrain a passenger may experience from a momentary glance out their window.
