19th century, the screen is carved in low relief, with an outdoor scene of a figure having tea on a rock with scholarly accessories nearby, the reverse has been carved out and has blue and white porcelain Chinese characters applied.

Cracking and repainting to wooden lacquered side; reverse has loss and wear to surface; the wooden stand appears to have some repairs.
