Antique Rosewood Lap Desk

19th century, rosewood with silvered inlay, hinged lid opens to reveal a fabric covered writing surface, both sides of the writing surface open to show a single open compartment respectively, along one edge of interior is four smaller compartments retaining glass inkwells.
