Polychrome painted carving of a mother opossum with two babies, signed and dated 1993 on the underside of the paw.

9.25 x 38 in.

A similar opossum and babies is in the permanent collection of the Asheville Art Museum.

Both babies appear to have repaired breaks to tail.
