This quilt done by Octavia Graham Stroud (1864-1926), born in Hillsborough, NC, applique decoration of red flowers with diamond border, unmarked, accompanying the lot is O.J. Perry's "A Saga of Strouds & Strodes" with a dedication page having Octavia's image.

The quilt is in fair-poor condition with staining; toning; losses to much of the red applique; tear to one end.
