A Japanese Kinkozan Covered Bowl

Late 19th or early 20th century, signed in gold Kinkozan on the underside, decorated with geisha and children playing on the cover and a gilt covered bamboo handle in the center, the interior of the cover and the bowl have a small grouping of quiet elegant flowers in gilt.
