The first: Carlo Maratta (1625-1713), The Virgin and Child with the Young St. John the Baptist, on cream laid paper; the second: a nativity scene attributed to Bartolomeo Biscaino (1629-1657), sheet trimmed to or just inside platemark; presented in uniform matting and gilt framing.

Sheet Size 6 7/8 x 5 1/8 in. (the first), 5 1/16 x 3 7/8 in. (the second); DOA 15 3/4 x 13 1/2 in.
