This sculpture is in the style of of Hindu temple sculpture as seen in Central India Rajasthan, it is a female earth goddess, holding a love letter, and standing with her attendant. Similar to a stone sculpture of a yakshi from the 11th century in the collection of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University.
