Meiji period (1868-1912), artist's signature and red artist's seal in upper right hand corner, publisher's mark and date on upper left corner, ink and colors on paper, depicts a kabuki play with a princess and magician Jiraiya dressed in vivid fanciful costumes and with exaggerated theatrical expressions, framed with a mat under glass, not examined outside of frame.
DOA 28.75 x 36.5 in.
Very good color and impression; some rubbing to paper on right hand print; some minor foxing and staining.
