Serial number 66253 (circa 1891), 30 in. barrels stamped PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDAN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL, plate on forestock stamped PATD. MAR. 26. 1878, engravings of gamefowl on receiver, the underside of butt stock inlaid with small brass shield, the butt fitted with a mid-20th century Pachmayr molded recoil shield.
